Our model home is completed and ready to be viewed. Come and see how The Sanctuary's design team paid respect to the architectural beauty and strength of the First Church of Christ Scientist. Deconstructing the inner sanctuary added more than eight weeks to the construction schedule, as each item had to be carefully removed, documented and stored. Materials that could be adapted to new uses and returned to the living spaces were, while others found new homes through building salvage companies. In addition, many of the existing pews were donated to a church undergoing a renovation and dirt excavated from the site for the underground parking garage was gifted to the city of Seattle for a new park.
